SOY to the rescue...!

Hello Again Luvs,

I hope that you had a good weekend.  I found myself in a quandry today.  With the health things I am going through, I have been placed on a SUPER strict diet.  A diet that does not include my beloved avocados... :-( There are other things, but the avocado was the hardest one for me to give up!  If you are unclear about just how much I love them just read one of my previous posts... ( it was tasted BEFORE I got a pic!
So, my quandry was what to substitiute for two of the key ingredients in my chocolate, peanut butter, banana shakes.  As it turns out, Trader Joe's has a yummy soy vanilla ice cream that my kids love, and I can actually eat it! So that went in place of the traditional vanilla ice cream.  I also subbed soy milk for the regular milk.  Well, it turned out lovely, and I tell ya, there wasn't a dissatisfied customer in the house.

Below is the recipe for the shakes.  Try them out and let me know what you think?

-Two medium bananas
-Four heaping tablespoons peanut butter
-Four scoops soy vanilla ice cream (or traditional)
-Generous amount of Chocolate Moo sauce (fat and dairy free) 
-Half cup of milk (soy or regular)
